Within all of us, we have Inner Children hidden beneath our personalities, and when I do Inner Child work we try to contact, to listen to and communicate with, and nurture your inner child, you can then find and heal the roots of your issues as an adult.

Inner child is a psychotherapeutic concept initially began with Jung, and it is a powerful tool to help clients. For instance, it is the part that comes out, when you see something exciting and your heart jumps, the joy you feel when you are on an adventurous holiday, and also situations such as frustrations when things do not go, according to plan.

This work will take the form of dialoguing with your Inner Child, meditating to feel in touch with your inner child, and sending healing to that particular event. This process allows you, to access repressed memories, which are holding you back gaining personal power, self-esteem and feeling self-compassion.

If you were controlled by your parents as a child, you may have suppressed those feelings, such as sadness and anger. However by experiencing these repressed feelings, and revisiting that situation as an adult, you may find new understanding and compassion, and be able to see others, are not perfect and had their own unmet needs, to struggle with.

When we reconnect with our Inner child within, we are able to rediscover ourselves, not allowed to be presented at the time. The core roots of many of our issues, insecurities can be discovered through this process.

The entire process begins with a guided meditation, to relax and I will guide you to connect, to your Inner child. Then I will be asking you questions, to reveal the situation or circumstance, which created the trauma or the issue you are struggling with.

Through deep breathing and relaxing, we will start this journey, and the entire session can be up to an hour. Once the answers are revealed, we can begin to heal the inner child within, and those issues and see the same situation with a different perspective. I will then offer an energy healing session using either Reiki or Spiritual healing, to those areas mentioned.
